Clone a user
STEP 1 – Log into Workshop Management.
STEP 2 – Select Admin Menu > Workshop Resource.
STEP 3 – When you have logged into the Workshop Resource > click the (+) box where it says ‘Employees’. This will then drop down all ‘Employee Types’ i.e. Tech, Advisors.
STEP 4 – Select the (+) box next to the ‘Employee Type’ and find the user you want to clone. Right-click on the name and select ‘Clone Employee’.
STEP 5 – The below box will need to be filled out with the new user’s information – here is an example:
The OpNum (circled) will self-generate as the next available number on the system and will be the new users login ID number.
The boxes with stars against them will be greyed out because you are cloning everything from the other user.
STEP 6 – When you have entered name, initials, email and password, click ‘Save’.
(Please note for advisors to make bookings in Link who's DMS is CDK the user will need to be set up in the RTC CDK Interface/Authorised Users list)
