Welcome to this Customer User Guide which relates to the 2.9.2 build, we have introduced some New Functionality and also system improvements both in Workshop Management and the Link system. 


The 3 main points below will help you understand how to use and how to have the necessary set up for each new feature or improvement.

New Functionality


BMW OEM - Warranty Clockings


With the Tech App there is now the ability to change work type whilst clocked onto a single line. This will enable a Technician to change work type for the same job line as they work through the repair. This feature also fulfils the BMW warranty process for recording and reporting on all 


After clocking on to a line the work type can be changed by opening the line here



In the above example the work type has been changed to Diagnostic and a Write up “Diagnostic done “has been added. Job card now shows the tech write up in notes.



The clocking report shows the line number and the work types selected while clocked on to the job.

SEAT menu pricing


We have integrated into the Seat Menu Pricing system. 

(Please see your Account Manager for a separate guide (Customer Guide - SEAT Menu Pricing)



Improvements


Audi Upload Tool


We have added the ability to upload media in the form of a picture or short video within the system.


When completing a booking for ‘DIAG’ diagnostic investigation there is an option to complete the questionnaire ‘Now’ which would be completed immediately.


The second option is to email the questionnaire to the Customer. With the second option we have developed the option to upload media when completing the ‘Diagnostic Questionnaire’, this media should be a picture or video clip.



The Customer will receive an email enclosing the questionnaire, under question 7 they can choose the colour of the warning light on the vehicle. Each Colour selected will display the relevant warning lights. If they are unable to identify the light, a picture or short video can be uploaded. The Questionnaire is then completed and returned.




Questionnaires completed can be viewed in the checklists tab within Workshop Management.



 

Alternatively, the booking can be opened in WSM


Open the booking and select ‘Check List’ which will display the status of the questionnaire. (same as above)

In the Media tab the Media uploaded by the customer can be viewed.

Configuration


This is available immediately for current users of the Audi Diagnostic Questionnaire, otherwise this will require set up.

Audi diag questionnaire - Update images and text


Images of the warning lights and text on the Audi questionnaire have been updated.


*Changes will be visible following the system upgrade.


EU Tyre Ratings - Noise Class


In the Inspection system > Tyres Tab > EU Tyre Ratings section the Noise Class ratings have been updated to A, B & C. Also, the images for Wet Grip, Fuel efficiency and Noise Rating have been updated. (See below)

Adjust diary screen to appear after amending date fields


When adjusting the Date In/Date out fields in Workshop Management the system pops a warning message informing the user that amending the days in this way will not result in resource being correctly removed from the diary.

The system can now be set to automatically display the ‘Adjust Diary’ screen to give the user the option to remove the resource.

Reposition Micheldever 'Price' column


In the Inspection system > Tyre Tab > Micheldever Tab > the price column has been relocated next to the MD Stock column. (As shown below)

Tech App Write Up Changes


The following issues have now been resolved.

-    Write up's not wrapping text on clock off.

-    Write up's not editable after clock off.

-    Notes need to be visible separately from write up.  

-    Ability to add note and edit write up for tech is.

Ability to remove tick on Recall Screen (Hyundai)


Added ability to untick ‘Add Recall’ box.

 


Bug Fixes


Various bugs have also been rectified in the 2.9.2 upgrade.
