The ability to configure and manage file extensions is permission based. Please contact your FileIt administrator
In order to manage file extensions, you will need to navigate to System Settings>FileIt>Valid File Extensions.
Once you have accessed Valid File Extensions, you will see a screen similar to the below and from this screen you will be able to decide which file extensions are accepted during a manual upload of a document.
Adding a File Extension
1. In order to add a file extension to the system, simply click on the 'Add File Extension' link.
2. The below screen will then appear and from here, you will need to type in the file extension you wish to add and the click on the 'Add' button. The system will then automatically refresh and return you back to the list of valid file extensions and your new addition will have been added to the list.
Deleting a File Extension
1. In order to delete a file extension, simply click on the 'bin' icon next to the extension that you wish to remove.
2. A confirmation pop-up box will then appear and to delete the extension, click on the 'Delete' button.
3. The system will then automatically refresh and remove the extension and you will be returned to the file extension list.
